Made a change from our usual walk by heading out over the Blue Bridge to Vic West. We followed the first part of the Galloping Goose Trail to where it connects with Banfield Park. It was a lovely sunny day and we sat on the grass with a dear friend and her darling daughter.

Walking across the Blue Bridge to connect with the first part of the Galloping Goose Regional Trail. This bridge is often seen in photos I post taken from across the water on the walkway that follows the south side of the harbour past Fisherman's Wharf and onto the waterfront walk on Dallas Drive. The land on the right side of the photo is the Songhees land which has the lovely Westsong Walkway to Westbay Marina.
