Today marks the first day of the new Chinese lunar year – for 2015, it is the Year of The Wooden Sheep. Our neighbourhood, Canada’s oldest Chinatown, is very busy at this time of year! This coming Sunday, from noon until 4, the festivities include a Lion dance, dragon performances, kung fu and tai chi demonstrations, traditional dancing, and Chinese tea ceremonies.
Eraser cut?
Year of the Sheep… I gotta remember that, or I’ll be writing Year of the Horse on my cheques until April.
Sort of Brian. It’s that material for cutting that looks like a big white eraser and it softer and squishier than lino. Opus has it, it’s quite cheap.
Thought so! Sometimes that stuff is too crumbly for me. I use actual rubber erasers and scalpel blades. But my eyes aren’t good enough for detail work on that anymore.
