Archives for posts with tag: hand-made cards

Oh my! I’ve been designing and making many things! I am participating in a two-day Artisan Market at the University of Victoria next week. I will be representing our online store, so as well as my own work, I will have art from GJ and our guest artists. Today was all about adding hang tags; so much still to do! But it’s been fun. Here are some pics of new work, plus the flyer for the event, in case you’re in the Victoria BC area.

Spent part of today photographing and preparing Etsy posts for some new Festive Cards. Here  is a sampling, plus a photo which Taxicab “helped” with.

Red cardinals on white wreath with red field, all on pale grey card with Japanese paper embellishment. All these cards are made from hand cut stamps.

White wreath on green field with darker green paper highlight.

White branches on grey-blue field with dark red paper highlight.

Such a good helper!

On our way to the walking tour yesterday we spied a house that was full-on ready for Hallowe’en, complete with giant blow-up black cat on the roof, its head moving back and forth. I guess when you live across the street from the graveyard…

Here are some images of the hand-cut stamp Hallowe’en cards I have in my Etsy shop:

Ravens, owls and bats for spooky Hallowe’en cards.

More spooky in a more simple card.
