It was a gorgeous spring day yesterday. I had a walking adventure with our new friend Sprocket and his humans. We found a lovely little public dock just past Banfield Park in Vic West. The Gorge Waterway was perfectly still and it was quiet and peaceful. Stopped at Fol Epi and Cafe Fantastico at Dockside Green on the way home for delicious snacks and tea.

Our pal Sprocket. He's simply wonderful!

From the dock we daydreamed about this gorgeous house with a lovely big deck that overlooks the Gorge.

The sky cleared a bit yesterday so we took the opportunity to enjoy our usual harbour-front walk. Here are a few of the sights we enjoyed.

This is Gemma. We couldn't resist crossing the street to meet her. She was so sweet, soft and wiggly!

Oyster catchers! It had been a wile since we had seen any of these cool birds.

There were so many gulls hovering around this area. We were trying to see what was attracting them. It wasn't until we got a ways beyond this point that we saw someone was sitting just below this spot who was feeding them.

We found this little path of crocus last year in Beacon Hill Park. It's a bit bigger this year!

After we bundled up, my cousin took us and his sweet dog for a walk along the Montmorency River, just above the famous falls. There were a lot of icicles around the edges of the river. It was a perfect crisp and clear day.

As we came off the path to the river’s edge there were so many icicles hanging from the rocks and branches along the shore. These I liked with the red berries behind.

And more.

More pretty icicles.

This is Jasper; we love him.

Met this little chap last saturday on our way to Moss Street Market. He wasn’t stuck, just checking out the passers by!

Tried to get him to look at the camera, but another dog was approaching.
