As many people do, I love to photograph doorways, door knockers, and other architectural details. Here are a few lovely doors in Rye, East Sussex.

A recent show at Dales Gallery featured the beautiful photography of Dag Goering. His compelling images of elephants are traveling the world to bring awareness to the ongoing challenges these magnificent creatures face. Dag and his wife Maria Coffey run Elephant Earth Initiative which “supports pragmatic, science-based approaches to elephant welfare and conservation.”  They also have a wonderful adventure travel company called Hidden Places Travel.

Our little kitty loves to run out in the hallway outside our apartment. She thinks that something much more magical going on out there than there actually is. Yesterday when she escaped, GJ followed her with the camera, and then spent a few minutes on the kitchen floor trying to catch cute pictures. But, of course, cats just won’t stand still when asked!

Spooky ghost cat in the hall.
